The Finals Cashout Meta Without Overthinking It

Cashout mode looks chaotic until you notice the pattern: teams that see the third party first almost always win the vault. Here is how I read cashout rounds after hundreds of hours in The Finals — no jargon, just habits that actually stick.

The first sixty seconds decide everything

Most teams lose cashout before the vault opens because they treat the opening minute like a deathmatch. Slow down. Grab economy, listen for demolition, and note which class pushed mid. If you run overlays, keep contestant filters tight so your screen stays readable when four squads converge.

On Monaco I default to roof lines first, then drop when the cashout timer hits yellow. Seoul rewards teams that control vertical — zip lines are free information if you watch who takes them.

Third parties are the real boss fight

The squad on the vault is rarely your only problem. Hold one angle, but keep a second player watching the flanks you cannot see. Radar and wallhack tools exist because audio alone fails when C4 reshapes the map every thirty seconds.

If you are solo-queueing, play for placement: steal partial cashouts, reset, and let louder teams fight. Ranked rewards consistency more than hero plays.
